KEEPERS ZAMBIA LAUNCHES FISH PROJECT IN NALOLO,SENANGA

By Luyando Haamwala-Keepers Zambia Foundation has launched a sustainable small-scale fisheries projects in Nalolo and Senanga Districts aimed at building management capacity of the small scale fisheries.

Organizations Senior Programs Manager James Simwinga says the 3-year project funded by the European Union targets 1,500 fish farmers and traders in the two districts.

Mr. Simwinga says among the area of coverage is fish value addition, fishing methods as well as conservation fish farming.

Meanwhile Nalolo Districts Commissioner Teddy Chimbinde called on beneficiaries to take advantage of the opportunity in order to better their lives.
